I think that too many Americans want fast results with out the work. Plain and Simple. Look at everything from weight loss to making money, everyone wants the one week plan to loose 10lbs or to make a 1000k. The truth is that it takes time and commitment. Take a look around, that is why not everyone is thin and not everyone is rich, however the people that want it the most will stick with it and will succeed.
Last year I made a commitment to myself to get in the best shape of my life, get that sixpack back, and have a body that I could be proud of on the beach. The goal that I set was to work out 4 to 5 times a week for a year. Not a month, not two months, A YEAR. I made that goal, succeeded and I'm continuing into year two with bigger, better goals in mind.
Your Business:
Give your self a year to build this business and see where it gets you. Set some goals to spend 5,6,7,12 hours a week honing your skills and marketing for the next year. When a year is up take a look at your finances and you will see how great your efforts have been rewarded. A year seems like a long time but, 1 it goes by fast, and 2 it is worth it to better your LIFE!
Serious Money takes serious commitment.

Loved the advice TshirtFrank :)
My goals too have switched to yearly. I think the results are so much better than by going weekly or monthly. At least for me they do ;)

Hello TshirtFrank,
Great advice for us all to consume. I might add that one should have short range goals
along with the long range goals also.

Achieve Greatly!"
Have a grand day!

I have not heard a better expression of such problem. The truth is that
many people actually quit MOIS or other programs like this one because
they expect immediate gratification, and when they don't get it, they
get discourage and eventually say... "well, I guess this was just another
scam" but yet, they never really put true time and effort in it.
This might be a bit harsh to say, but here is a wake up call... nothing as important
as making money from home happens over night. The best way I can explain that
is by comparing someone who is trying to lose 20 lbs. That's their goal, to loose
20 lbs, but nobody is going to loose 20 lbs over night.
However if you spread that goal of loosing 20 lbs into 4 months, so that you are actually
loosing 5 pounds per month, they you will loose those 20 lbs but only by talking
mini steps towards your goal.
Best of luck,

I agree but what i do is set short term and long term goals. This keeps me on track and i know that if at the end of one of my short term goals i am falling behind i can kick myself in the butt to get going. This help to keep you long term goals on track also. This is what works for me it may help some other people that set a goal out to the year and then 2 weeks before the end of the year they are rushing to reach the goal.

I agree... we are too used to quick fixes and many times forget or overlook the value of persistence and focused effort to attain durable results. Quick fixes in business can be like microwaveable food: it fulfills your craving for 1 hou minute and gives you no nutrition for the next 23 :D

My motivation goes on roller coasters. Oftentimes I think I can make it, and belong to this 5 % who stick it through. Sometimes I think that I won't because I'm incredibly impatient. I feel that I'm not progressing as fast as I should, and I tend to forget that I'm married, have to boys, and still a part-time job that I really love. ;) Roseanne

The main point to remember is to stick with it. Don't give up, just keep pushing through. Very soon things will really make sense and you will be able to juggle all that you do. Continue to work at your own pace and use the forum if you have any questions so that we may help you further :)

Everyone has their own way of doing things. Try and stay organized and work as little or as much as you want and your results will follow. :)

I started with the idea that I would see some money after a month but I've come 'round. I don't want to belong to this 95% that don't make it. However, instant gratification is really a very appealing concept. For sure, I changed my focus, and hope to get it going by 6 months, this would be very nice! :) Roseanne

Hey All,
Definitely stick with it! It took me 6 to 7 weeks before I made my first sale. You will really start to get it after you complete the system. There really is a lot of experimentation. Not all niches are easy to make money in, but if you are committed to any niche I think that you can do it. Just stick to it, I have never heard of anyone not making money with MOIS.

I agree with you there TSF. Use the tools and venture out to other areas of interest. Before to long sales will come, just keep applying the steps;)

It is best to broaden your horizons. You should pick a topic or a niche that you enjoy or know a lot about. This really helps when you are researching and promoting. It sounds more legitimate and honest to the person buying. :)

I think that is the eye catcher for any visitor. The need to relate to what you are saying and feel more comfortable in what they are investing in ;)
