Recently I have started to play with social marketing and was wondering which ones do you use and what do you submit to them?

I have started with Digg, delicious, and stumbleupon. I submit everything. My lenses, articles, ads, etc.

Should a person only submit a few things or everything?

Your opinion would be appreciated. :)

Gridellas,

www.socialmarker.com is a good one to use - it is free and you can submit to a lot of different ones at once. The only drawback is you have to set up accounts for each one of them.

Same thing with http://www.onlywire.com

Good luck with this! :)

These are both good sites to join. Maybe time consuming setting them up, but worth it when you are finished.:D

It is somewhat time consuming, but like you said VERY well worth it when you are done. You might have to just take time out of your schedule and just sign up for a bunch and like we said - then you are done. :)

Actually, onlywire is giving me a real head ache because I don't seem to get this button concept. Does s.b know if there is a site describing how to use onlywire, or an easier way to go about this m*** social bookmarking.lol, Roseanne

Hi Gridellas,

Social bookmarking sites are great! I also use onlywire, and submit the majority of my articles and sites.

I've been using a couple of processes that endorse social marketing--Renegade and My Online Income System. It really makes a lot of sense to me, because I always felt odd about approaching strangers with my opportunities; after all, how does a stranger know s/he can trust me? As far as talking to family and friends, that was also uncomfortable for me because I didn't feel like I knew enough about my product for a lot of their questions or to explain away their concerns about scams. With social marketing, you know the people who approach you have a genuine interest in what you're offering and the chances of them signing up are much greater.

Social media sites are great, especially some
of the ones you have already mentioned.
I have found that submiting a good amount
of unique content, while relating it all to the
same keyword phrases works like gangbusters.

I would also suggest using sites like Facebook,
Myspace, YouTube, and Twitter. They are great
for getting some exposure, and they are totally
free.

Best of luck.

I have been using onlywire. I have 3 accounts. I use a few subaccounts in each. It is slowly creating backlinks in search engines for my sites.

Hey Gridellas,

I also use onlywire and it has worked pretty good so far. Another strategy I use
that seems to work is this:

I spread the same content, with the same keywords, on different social media sites.
For example, if I write an article on a product about weight lost, then I write several
other articles, with the same keywords but different content, I'll make a video about the topic, submit it to YouTube or other video site, and then I'll spread the content t
through popular sites such as Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Digg, etc.

I sounds like a lot of work, however, once you achieve this, you will see some awesome
results.

Best of luck,

That is the best way to go. Most people forget to add new content while using their keywords and get marked with duplicate content. Once you have a product in mind and are interested in it, it is easy to come up with new content :)

I just figured out stumbleupon the other day. Thanks for the other two suggestions and everyone else's involvement in this thread. I'm going to give all of this a try!
