Hello everyone. I came across the idea of making money online after I was laid off from my job. I worked in the trucking industry (which you all know had a rough decline when gas prices soared) and because I was the youngest salesman, I was let go. After that I decided that I needed to be my own boss and that is how I stumbled upon this industry. It is slow going for me right now, but I have a feeling things will be beginning to break for me soon.

It is a good business to be in, but you have to work at it. We have a nice group of members here that are willing to share experiences and ideas to help you and your business. :)

Starting an online business takes time and effort to make it a success. Use the forum if you have questions. There is so much information shared on the internet that one can easily become overwhelmed. Don"t let it get to this point. Take your time and let the information soak in.

I'm also looking into supplementing my family income, and it takes time. For me it is good to know that once sites are out there in the net I don't have to worry about them for a while. Just keep writing, and publishing at your own pace. Good luck!

Welcome to the family. Affiliate marketing can be slow going when you are first starting out but stick with it because it definitely starts to pay the bills.
