This is another post from the MOIS forum that will be helpful to our members here in MMOF:
Are you lensrolling yet? If not you will for sure benefit from it. You can find it within Squidoo next to Favorite this lens.
When you are visiting someones lens, you are rating, favoriting, and leaving a comment or blurb... you can also lensroll. It is sort of like a blogroll.. but Squidoo's version.
You will be able to have a list of the lenses that are your faves in a similar category, and you will now have a link to them too!
Here is a great lens that explains it really well:

Also, here is the link to sign up for Lensroll (yes, you have to sign up... lol):

KitKat, you have helped quite a few members in building great lenses. From your enjoyment and learning the system, it has been a great learning experience for others with less stressful situations due to you providing awesome links to answer questions they have.:)

Being pretty new with Squidoo, I'd never heard of this concept with them. I appreciate the share, Mod 1 and Kitkat! This is another outstanding example of the value of this forum :)

No problem! It is nice to share little things like this - they make a bigger difference than people think. :)

Just one more reason to keep coming back to the forum. I knew about lensrolling but forgot and have yet to put it in place. Too many things to keep track of. Thanks for the heads up.

OK...I'm officially an idiot! Can someone please tell me how to sign up for lensroll? I followed the link, found the sign in page and the "click here" for new users and it takes me back to the same page! Where (exactly) on the page is the sign up form?
I've tried twice. Is it possible to have two bad days in a row?

This might explain it more for you Rosa. If not please let us know :)

Were you able to sign up Rosa? This is a great way to get those backlinks that you are in need of too! :)

NO!! Please make sure I have this right. I log in and go to the lens I want to link, go to edit mode and then click on lensrolling. When I get there it states that it is empty and lets me do nothing else.
Somewhere I read that you need to sign up first. I have the link and tried but....surprise...can't seem to accomplish that either.
Already emailed for support and am just waiting a response. Would rather get this done sooner though.
It's much easier if I just let myself think that only MY computer is messed up and it has nothing to do with me and my computer illiteracy.
Denial is the first stage!!
Anyone with help for this obviously technically challenged person?

I'm with you. I tried to figure out Lensroll, but I was obviously doing something wrong, too, because I got in an absurd loop and finally gave up. It never would let me register, or if it did, then I don't know what to do next. Frustrating.

I normally just click on the lensroll that the lensmaster provided in their lens. Then I go through and and answer the questions that are asked of where you would like to place that lens. I find this to be an easier process and less stressful :)

Finally!!! It is MUCH easier to not sign up. Just go to the lens you would like to lensroll. There is a row of icons at the top of the page (just right of center). If you hover over the icons it will tell you what it is. Click the lensroll button and from there is it's a very simple.
I was just banging on the wrong door. Once again...the forum saves me time.
Thanks!

I think a long time ago I tried signing up too. But I really did not understand the concept at the time of why I was doing it. After awhile I started noticing them while viewing lenses and found this method so much easier to just click on them if I was interested. Easier method hands down! :)
