Google analytics code in Squidoo

Is it possible to place a GA code in a Squidoo lens to track keyword search better? Anybody? Roseanne

No you will not be able to use this in squidoo since google analytics uses JavaScript and Squidoo does not. But if you look under stats on your lens you will be able to see how many click throughs and where your traffic is coming from:)

Yes the nice thing about Squidoo is they have their own internal analytics. Like FA2 said, you can go into edit by hovering over the name of your lens, and then you will see stats in there. :)

It is great actually.... it shows your click throughs and where they came from and it will also show you on the right hand side the keywords that someone searched for and you can click on the + (plus) to add it to your tags! :D

I too like the stats they have. You can even check your health of your lens with their system. This helped me to figure out what area I was weak in;)

There is wealth of information on adding into your squdoo. Its amazing how much squidoo offers these options towards a beginner to a more advanced user.:)

You cant use the code which Mark posted as thats an example but if you signup to Google (http://www.botmasternet.com/) Analytics and generate the code you can then paste it in:

admin -> shop settings -> google analytics

You will not be able to use google analytics in squidoo like mentioned above by Forum Admin 2. Squidoo has their own internal stats.

Who knows how to put Google analytics in a WordPress Blog?
For the life of me I can't figure where to put the code. Some tell you to go to >Admin Panel >Appearance>Edit.
But there is no 'edit', there is only 'edit CSS' [whatever that means]
I'm gonna start banging my head on the floor!
Anybody?

Hey Michael ~

You should be able to just go to Plugins, then Add New, then do a search for it... that is what I do.... there are so many different ones that you can pick from... but here is also something from wordpress:

You should be able to do it the first way though... then just install and activate it. I just did it last week and it works okay... let me know if it works or not for ya.

Many thanks for the tip KitKat. I'm a bad boy.. I missed your reply for like 2.5 months! You know, WordPress drove me nuts for awhile.. some people said you install analytics code via the admin panel, but I could not see out how to do it. Then a guy told me about the plugin. Well, now I know it's the only way to get the dern thing in there, so that's what I'm going to do.
