Yes twitter is going crazy many media companies love it.

There are still only a fraction of the audience of Facebook though.

Events like this are designed to increase the uptake of twitter

Interestingly enough the founder of Twitpic is my new neighbor and and has plans to sell his Twitter application to MySpace.
