Has anyone ever heard of VPS Hosting? I just thought that I would provide a short description here of the difference between VPS Hosting and Shared Hosting.
Shared Hosting
Cheaper Plans
Shared Server
VPS Hosting
More Expensive
Dedicated Individual Server
The Analogy:
By using Shared Hosting, although cheaper, you are basically sharing your garage with numerous other people. Everyone gets to park their car in your garage. With VPS Hosting, it is like having your own garage to park only your cars in. No one else is allowed to park their cars in your garage. This allows for faster load time of your sites, which will in turn give your sites higher rankings in the search engines. This will increase your traffic results, thereby also increasing the worth of your site.
In a Nutshell:
Hosting is not just hosting. It does make a difference what hosting you choose for your business. Just remember that cheaper does not always mean better. Deciding which one is best for you really depends on what your business needs are.
