Does the hop link on clickbank work everytime?

I noticed when you create a hop link that sometimes your name is not in the adress bar and then for other products when you creat a hoplink with clickbank it has your id name in it. I do the same thing for every product but it shows up for certain ones only. So even though it creates a link without my id being shown am I still being the affiliate of that product to get commission?:confused:I know it may be a noob question but i just started and dont want to be messing up and not know. thanks for any help

The new hoplink in clickbank is now shielding your clickbank id. So instead of seeing your clickbank id, you will see a bunch of numbers/letters combined. They're use to be a away to double check to make sure your link was encoded right, but when I recently checked, it no longer lets you decode the shielded hoplink.

Other alternatives in making sure your links are properly set up is by hovering your mouse over your product. If you look in the browser when doing this you should see your affiliate id in the url.

The second way is to click through to the payment page. At the very bottom you will see "affiliate=YOURID" make sure your id is listed where it says YOURID. If your id is not included, double check your link for you will not be credited for sales.

I have not made anything yet with clickbank i hope iam doing things right , when i sign in it says my id at the top of the page i can't see where to go to the payment page to check if my id is coming up i do hope i have not blown it .kind regards andrea.

Andrea I went through all your payment pages and you are good to go. Just a suggestion though, you might want to cloak your id by using an anchor text. These look more appealing for when a visitor comes to your site. Here is your link which explains this::)
