What type of social media are you using for promoting your products?
My favorite one are Twitter, Youtube, Facebook, and Myspace. All of these
are more powerful than most people can even imagine.
How about you guys?

When you started using these media sites, did you notice your traffic pick up compared to not using them? :)

I would say it was much more noticeable and faster coming in.

Great! I wanted you to mention this so that other members can see the power of how media plays into building your business and how fast it can provide traffic :)

I definitely agree here, Social media seems to put put people in front of your websites at a much more rapid pace.
Does everyone set up seperate M.S. F.B. accounts for business or do you use your personal accounts?
Thanks!

Hey,
Still very new to marketing and haven't gotten to social media. Can someone give a little more detailed description of how it's actually used. At this point I'm guessing that you set up accounts, make posts and leave links. I haven't used social sites because I would rather not share personal stuff. Tell me if I'm missing something or am just clueless.

Social media tools are great at spreading information about your business. This is a great way to network your website plus learn new information. The more you participate the more comfortable you become in providing information to those who are seeking. The best part of it all, is you do make new online ***ociates, and your learning curve shoots through the roof. :)

Since thinking about social media, I have started asking people around me what they are involved in, if anything. Surpised to find that many people I would not have thought would be involved actually are. People are so busy that social media is fast becoming an outlet for many things.

i use twitter and facebook mostly. i saw people keep promoting their link on facebook every days and every hour, but i think that would not work because if there interested in your link they will click the link for the first time you promote it. promoting to many links in a day will lose your credibility even they will recognize you as a spammers. just my 2 cent :D

That's very true John. Plus, it's just plain overkill.

Your right John. I have noticed that most of the people I follow on twitter are really spamming. I made sure that I took these people out of my lists. I feel this too can ruin yoru creditbility :)
