The world of affiliate marketing puts lots of emphasis on generating traffic. Though the flow of traffic to your site is necessary for its survival, it does not mean that particular website will be successful.

What's needed to ensure your website's success?

Beyond having a steady flow of traffic, you have to look at the quality of your websites.
While any website can generate traffic, it also has to be able to keep visitors there.

Your websites should be well-designed, have an inviting quality to them, must be easy to navigate, provide quality content, and give the visitors what they are looking for.

Without these facets your site will not retain the visitors' attention and you will not get sales.

The next ingredient is your products/services. If you have a limited number of products/services customers will soon tire of seeing the same old thing and go elsewhere for something new.

Keep products/services fresh in order to keep customers coming back. Don't change things too much, just add a few fresh elements here and there. Take the time to find a balance that will please your customers.

Hey Volybal3,

So true! The great thing is that Marketing products online is a continuous on going experience. It can be a lot of fun when your minor tweaks produce good results. In general being in the biz, I visit a lot of sites to see what my competition is up to. Some sites I am in and out in a couple of seconds, others hold my attention. The ones that hold my attention are the ones that I learn from.

Great insite Volybal3

True. Constant tweaking is helping me a bunch. It makes me look at my work with fresh eyes and helps me improve them bit by bit.
