Viral marketing? Your thoughts?

Viral marketing is in fact what we are all involved in with MOIS...but has anybody tried Magnetic Marketing, or Attraction Marketing?

Its name reflects greatly what it is. With viral marketing you are using several tools to spread the word on one topic or niche. Anything from, blogs, articles, ads, social media tools (facebook, twitter, myspace, digg, youtube, etc...), email, even word of mouth. It's like targeting something from all different angles.

I can tell you that if done right, you will see great results.

What are people doing to get their articles, blogs, lenses, etc. Diggs on Digg.com? I've submitted everything, but no one has ever "dugg" anything I've posted. Maybe the only point is to have the backlink, but it seems to me that it would be more useful if people actually saw my submissions. I've "dugg" other articles that only had 1 Digg, but no one has returned the favor.

Suggestions?
