Keeping logged into forum ???

Ok guys I am getting a tad frustrated here :(

I log into the forum and sure as anything it even greets me with a welcome. But as soon as I move from one topic to another i get booted and have to log in again.

Why oh why does this happen???

Hey Ziggy,

I am sorry that you are having trouble staying logged in. May I ask what browser you are using? Is it Internet Explorer? Firefox? Also what version most likely Internet Explorer 7. You can check this by clicking Help and then about Internet explorer and it should tell you the version. It sounds like you have your browser set to not remember your p***word. Once I know the version I can show you how to change the setting.

Ziggy-Zoo, I have had the same problem. I use Internet Explorer and it is Version 7.

Yes Rosa I currently work in the I.T. field so I would say I am a little techy. hehe

try this.

click on tools, then click on Internet options. Click on the content tab, then click on autocomplete. Is there a check next to user names and p***words? Is there a check next to prompt me to save p***word?If not place checkmarks in both of these fields.I would go ahead and clear your p***words. The next time you login to the site it should ask you if you want windows to remember your p***word. Please make sure you click on yes.

Sorry I have not come back to you but everytime i tried to log onto the forum I kept getting kicked off ... before I could even access any of the topics even! I was getting soooo frustrated so I gave it a miss for a few days.

I am actually using Internet Explorer version 8.

I went ahead and used your suggestion though so lets see if it helps.

But glad to see it was not only me who has been having the problem ... i am also intellectually challenged when it comes to computers so could easily have thought I was just doing something stupid.

Gosh this is so frustrating - i would probably spend a whole lot more time in this forum but every time I try and do a post or change from one forum topic to another i get kicked off and have to re-log in again. Its too frustrating for words.... so that it from me tonight. :)

i think i have the same problem with you. i cant log in to this forum normally. if i want to log in i have to open email and click the link that the forum gave. :D

You are not able to sign in by saving the forum link through your favorites for easier access?:)

i think it is not the forum fault, maybe there is some problem with my pc. Ah doesn't matter that problem. I am happy as long i can log in to this forum :)
