Hi Everyone,
I just commented on an interesting blog and it got me thinking. What is the most important thing that you can do to set yourself apart from other Affiliates?
Maybe it is your product selection, maybe it is your thirst for knowledge, or maybe it is your plan.
The successful "learn to market" programs all have one thing in common they have an action plan. When you are starting in this business you need to have a plan to guide you to be successful and get a base of knowledge. As we continue to market (post start up) we have a good idea of the tasks we need to complete in order to keep the sales coming in but seldom make a list.
Making a list holds you accountable and gives you a definite direction every time you sit in front of the computer screen. I recently made a spreadsheet with all of the routine tasks that I know have to get done week in and week out in order to make money.
Here is an example:
10 posts in X forum
Write 3 articles
Ping and update lenses
Post to two of my blogs
......and so on
I have 20 of these.. Lets face it every time you go to work you might not feel like writing and article or pinging your sites. Having a list takes the thought out of it and motivates you to check off all the tasks.
Any other strategies out there?
