Hi Everyone,
I am just wondering what everyone's motivation is to keep marketing and to make working from home a reality. My main motivation to make a living at home is my time. I love this business and if I could wake up every morning, and work at it everyday instead of going to work, that would rock! I would love to be able to go to the gym at lunch when it is not crowded instead of 5:30 everyday!
What motivates you?

My motiviation is my age. Not getting any younger and have a few medical issues.
But your right, this is a great business to do from home and I enjoy it thoroughly. There is never a dull moment, for you are learning something new everyday as you maintain your business.
You have come along way TSF!! Keep going :)

something that helps me stay motivated with working on my internet marketing business is that once it gets up and running and bringing in profits I can quit my day job. Also, I like to stay focused on the positive aspects of this business which are working from home, always learning new things, being able to chat with other forum members and learn from them as well, and etc.

I've always believed in the saying "work smarter, not harder". Now I'm not shy about working hard, yet I realize that some "jobs" will only get me so far regardless of how hard I work. What keeps me motivated with this is the fact that no one is putting a limit on how much or how little I can make. Ultimately, this is up to me and my efforts. I like living my life without having to worry if I'll be able to pay the bills next month. Not worrying about retirement, being able to travel and enjoy life. There is so much to do out in the world, so many people for me to meet, and all sort of experiences. I don't want to simple settle down somewhere, buy/rent a place and work just to live. I want to live and not have any regrets.

When I started out my motivation was to "make the car payment". Now after almost two years my motivation is the economy.
My day job is not to secure right now so I'd like to be able to build my business to the point of not having to worry about losing my job.

John,
It is a really good goal to strive for. If there is anything we can do to help, please let us know. :)

I also must admit that part of my motivation is the fact that I truly enjoy the whole process of internet marketing.
Getting to page one on Google for different keywords, watching the Alexra rating improve, building backlinks etc.
The motivation is also building the business
Thanks
John

I think to be successful with internet marketing, you have to like doing what you are doing. It does take time to build and most people never finish because of this. But if you continue steadily, it will soon pay off. That is part of what is rewarding with marketing. Setting your goals and meeting them, setting them again, etc. Its great to see your hard work pay off by staying on the search engines front pages and making those sales. Gotta love it!

I'm motivated with the opportunity to work from home, not deal with a boss, and make money full-time from my online business. I look forward to the challenge.

I really like that question.
I think what motivates me the most is being able to put my heart & soul into something that is uniquely - mine! And - to not give up, under any circumstance!
It also helps if you believe that; "Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing - you will be successful!
To your success!

What motivates me is the potential to make enough money doing this that I don't have to work a full time day job. It would be nice to tell my boss when things are slow: "I'm going home. Just give me a call when things pick up if you need some help." No fear of layoffs, no fear of downturns, and no bending over and grabbing the ankles just because I need a job.
