What is the best ways to get your website noticed by search engines and how long does it take for the process.

This can be done by directing traffic back to your website. You can use articles, blogs, Cl***ified Ads, forums, etc. :)

You also want to keep your website updated and ping it everytime that you do so that the search engines crawl your content. How long it takes depends. I can usually write an article at ezines and have it in the ranking within a few days. If it is a website or blog it could take longer. There are a lot of variables.
