Researching products is one of the first things one should do. As you are right, people are out to make money any way that they can. It is sad that it is like this, but that is why forums can be helpful in these areas.

I hope your online business is going well otherwise since we have not seen you in for awhile.

Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. I am sure this will help to remind others to do a thorough search before joining other programs:)

It is so important to do your research when considering a purchase of any kind, unless of course you know first hand who you are buying from or a friend has had a good experience. Thank goodness you were able to straighten things out.

Good luck and much success! :)

It's great the Clickbank refunded your money. If they get enough requests like that, hopefully they'll drop those programs from their network.

Actually, Andy - they do. If the refund rate is too high, they will not be shown up in the results within the Marketplace to promote.

Glad Clickbank refunded your money. Research should always be the key in selecting a reliable system to get started in affiliate marketing.

One recommendation I've seen out there that makes sense: always pay through PayPal if available. That way, if you have trouble getting a refund, you can always go through PayPal. The only catch is that you have to request a PayPal refund within 45 days.

Paypal is a very safe route to use when making a purchase. :)

Paypal is great in the refund request. Most people will know if they need to request one a refund within the first 10 days of receiving the product. One also needs to double check the refund policy with any person, or company before investing for some do not offer this if purchasing their product :)

I agree. You will know pretty quickly if you've received what you thought you were paying for. I know a common complaint is that a program will have a 60 day money back guarantee, and you cannot get your money from PayPal if you decide to wait that long. But the point is you don't have to wait that long. You will know if you were scammed within the first couple of weeks.

Very true Andy. I have invested in past programs and new within the first few hours of reading through the material if it was worth keeping and applying:)

This is true Andy. You usually can tell fairly quickly if it is a product for you or not. You don't want to spend a lot of time on something that you are not comfortable with. On the flip side, you want to make sure that you give it a go, just to make sure. :)
