How to Make Your Resource Box Sticky
(how to get people to actually click the link to your web site)
You need a short bio:
Tell something about yourself
For Example: "William Widget owns the popular website Benefits of Widgets."
You need a Call to Action:
Give the person who is reading your resource box a reason to click on your link.
For Example: "Want to learn more ways to capitalize on widgets to get better results from your online marketing campaign? Go to [http://www.yourwebsite.com] to receive a free report about the use of widgets in online marketing."
You need to use your anchor text
Use your primary keyword in both the title of the article and in the resource box.
You will need to customize your resource box for each article you write.
Using the above example the primary keyword is widget.
You need to link back to your webpage, article, or blog
This should be the only link you use in article writing. It is possible to overkill your article if you add 4-6 text links to different sites in your article. If the reader clicks on any of them, you have lost them from your article and they never get to your resource box.
The complete resource box looks like this:
William Widget owns the popular website, Benefits of Widgets. Want to lean more ways to capitalize on widgets to get better results from your online marketing campaign? Go to [http://www.yourwebsite.com] to receive a free report about the use of widgets in online marketing.
You only have a maximum of 450 characters and spaces for your resource box, so learn to make it as effective as possible.
Hope this helps someone!
