Hello from Arizona!
I changed careers several years ago from finance and insurance to behavioral health and human services. In so doing, I cut my income by two thirds plus the cost of going to grad school.
Even though I thought I was prepared for this, I wasn't. I am looking to help myself get back on track and rebuild my finances.
The learning curve seems so steep; affiliate marketing, blogs, websites, articles Squidoo???
I am glad I found this forum and hope to learn some things and get some encouragement. I have some business in a box type things that I hope will help me.
Thank you

This is where you have to love internet marketing or hate it. It does take time and effort on your part to build it up. Sticking with it and asking questions will definitely help you to understand all these concepts better.

Yeah it's a tough learning curve tandre, but stick with it! I'm in the beginning stages (little over a month) but I'm starting to see results. I had another sale on Sunday, but it's a lot of work right now. Just gotta keep moving forward.

It's hard to say that doing all the hard work will change, but as you go along you will use more advanced marketing techniques and strategies, so it will be different.
It is nice though when you do the work and it runs on autopilot. You can make sales years later and not have even touched your website or blog. You can just keep building new things all the time. Having several different ways to bring money in from different sources is important when you get in the more advanced stages.
Good luck to all! :)
