Hello,
I feel like asking this question is in bad taste so I will try it this way. I have been using an excellent program to get me started as a newbie and have been at it for over two months without a sale. Is this unusual? I am doing it part time 8-10 hours a week. I think I am on the right track with things but am getting minimal traffic and no sales.
Should I be worried that I am not getting it just on the basis of zero sales

This is not an unusual question. What you might need to do is re-evaluate your campaigns to see what is working and what is not. Double check the products you are promoting, are they products that others are searching for? If so, are you targeting with good keywords? These are a few questions you will need to ask yourself.
Research and Keywords are very important on products you wish to campaign. If you are not fully understanding how to use the keywords please ask so we can provide you with extra information:)

The important thing is to try and not get discouraged. It can be very overwhelming sometimes and not sure what direction to go or not. You may need to go back and tweak your all over campaign. Your keywords will need to be highly targeted as Forum Admin 2 mentioned. If your keywords/phrases are highly competitive you may need to re-evaluate.
We are here if you have any questions. Good luck! :)

Tandre was asking if it is unusual to not make a sale within 2 months using a step by step course.
As mentioned, this would be a time to check through your campaigns to see what is working and what is not working. Have you done enough marketing for your products? This can be done through articles, ads, blogs, squidoo, website etc. :)

Forum posting can also be very powerful. Make sure that you post in the other forums so bring more traffic and potential sales to you. :)

And it would also advantageous to put your URL in your signature so that it shows up in your posts.

Putting your URL's in your signature will help you get more traffic and ultimately sales. Forum marketing can be very beneficial. Just make sure that you are offering genuine advice and discussion topics. :)

Hi Tandre,
I understand what you are thinking....I'm in the same boat, but, I do believe the sales will start soon and I'm not going to give up! I think some people give up too soon. It sounds like you've been putting in your time, so persevere, and the sales will start coming in. I know, I too, need to get more articles, lens, blogs, ads, etc out there to drum up traffic and sales!
Hang in there as this forum has a number of people willing to help and it seems to have alot of expertise to help you (and me!) along the way!

Great post Laurab! You are right, sales will come in, sometimes it is later for others and it depends on what niche they are targeting. Traffic is also a very important step and by using natural ways of marketing, traffic will soon increase. I look forward to each of you posting that you have made a sale:)

Hi Tandre:
Laurab has a good point--you need to persevere and not give up too soon! I have found that I don't have enough perseverance myself, so with that knowledge, I realize that when I want to quit, it is too soon, and I make myself continue on.
Keep doing what your course tells you to do, and as others have said, review what you are doing.

That is one of the hardest parts of marketing, setting up your foundation. As Eric mentions, dont give up to early, keep going. It will in the long run, turn out. :)

Hello Tandre,
Sometimes I feel the same way, as I have been working with the same program for almost three months now! However, I am just staying confident in what I am being taught and am learning as much as I possibly can.
I write down everything and ask everyone for help. I think this will benefit me in the long run. Sounds to me like you are on a similar path.
Here's to our success! :D

Internet marketing is an on-going learning experience. Its good that you continue to ask for help or tips. This is how we all learn and sometimes it is trial and error. :)

It is so much better to ask questions than not at all. :)

Hey All,
It took me about 6 weeks to 2 months to get my first sale as well. Just stick with it! It only takes one well placed website or article with a product that someone wants to buy to get lots of traffic and lots of sales. Dont limit yourself to the WAH niche. Watch TV, look at the products that are being advertised and research. I do way better with physical products than I do clickbank products. Some people may do phenominal with clickbank products but I am not one of them. Spend your time researching that is the most important part. One well researched product or niche will make you money everyday for months and months. Look at your favorite tv shows what are they wearing, buying etc.
Best of luck!
