I am new to these forums, been perusing through the topics, but I felt I should give some good advice I have learned (from my wife) in the past two years: Always Research these work-at-home kits before you buy any of them.
Many of these kits have hidden cost, they want you to subscribe to something with monthly charges, they are much more work than they first appear to be, and they make very little money.
But it only takes a few minutes to do two simple things to see what you are getting into:
1. Check the Better Business Bureau rating. Key in the name of the product and/or the person pushing the product, and see the rating letter and BBB accreditation, followed by a summary of complaint and resolution history. Beware, an absence of information could mean this product/company is new, and therefore had insufficient time for adequate review.
2. Check what other people say in online reviews. Go to any search engine and key in the name of the product, company, or person, along with words such as review, then words such as scam, fraud, complaint, and see what the search engines find. Beware again, an absence of information could mean it is something new with inadequate time for reviews. Discount reviews which are entirely positive, those are often planted by the makers of the product. Also, discount reviews which are entirely negative and then try to sell you something better, those are there solely to steal peoples interests. Trust only reviews which appear to give factual unbiased information.
That's it, a little quick research will help you distinguish a potentially good investment from a waste of time and money. So don't trust the slick advertisements, trust the words of people who have actually tried to use the product.
