I just joined this forum a few weeks ago and was wondering why I keep receiving these types of messages in my inbox:

Hello, friend. There are viruses' activities from your computer in last few
days. Strongly recommend you to scan your computer. You can find a report about your computer's security and solve every problem with it here:

Than there is a link going to a website. I also get mail saying they would like to meet me.

I never received these types of message in a forum before.

Hi Tex, this has been taken care of. We try to catch them as fast as we can, but some have slipped through. If you receive anymore of these private messages, please let us know so we can make sure it is taken care of. You can forward us the pm and it will be dealt with.

We try to keep a nice clean positive forum. Majority of the time these spammers do not pm the moderators so we do not know about them unless a member informs us.
