Private Spam Messages

Hi,
I'm new to this forum....well, I signed up a while ago, but have not been here for some time....upon my sign in...I found 10 private messages...curious, yes, so I opened a couple and they are from people that have been banned (most of them, anyways) and telling me I have a virus on my computer, directing me to some web site...

My question...if these people are banned, how can they STILL send spam emails to people??

I have a list of some of the senders, would it help to post them? Although, I don't know if ALL of them are spam as I just deleted them....!!!!

We do apologize for this, we are trying to catch these as soon as they come in. If you would like to send a list to Forum Admin 2 or myself, we will take a look at their individual accounts.

HI Laura,

Unfortunately we are not able to catch these spammers fast enough before they spam our members through private messaging. We have been advising members to please not open these messages and to let us know if possible.

If it is showing banned for one of these members, it would mean that we had banned them in the process of their spamming act.

Hi,
I know it must be very hard to keep tabs on all the spammers, I guess all we, as legit members of the forum, can do is report the members names...and I urge anyone who runs into spam messages to do the same!
I've sent a list to Moderator 1, I hope that helps!!
