Hi All,
If you are not already using Twitter as a marketing tool I highly recommend it! I had kind of a slow start on Twitter because I didnt really get it, but now I am realizing just how much potential it has!
Here is a little nugget- The art of the tweet: The best tweets make an observation, take a stance, make a statement, or even crack a joke!

Twitter is great but I don't think they thought it was going to grow as fast as it did because it is so slow. Sometimes I dread getting on because it feels like it takes forever to load. Hopefully they will fix this soon. :)

I'm still unsure what to write about in Twitter having in mind my online business. What do you say when you tweet? :?: Roseanne

You can say what ever you would like. You can mention "just updated my squidoo, come check it out" Read through others and see what they are all saying :)

Hey Gridellas,
You should download twhirl, it is free software that works for twitter, it is super easy and super fast. It kind of looks like a bare bones AOL window and has tools to shrink your URL and a couple others.

Twitter is getting more powerful everyday. I would just watch how you say things so it doesn't sound too salesy. Some people tend to not like this and shy away. Make it someone inviting and enticing. :)

Looks like you are mastering the art of Tweet TSF! :)
One thing that I would say is only tweet when you have something to say. I've followed people who regularly put out 15 tweets in quick succession and it obliterates all the other tweets from other people that I'm interested in and I've blocked them as a consequence. 1 quality tweet is far more attractive than 15 "spam" tweets.
Also, keep selling to a minimum. People want to connect with who you are. Think of it as a pub conversation - no one wants to hang out with salesmen pitching at them all the time but a bit of easy going fun and observation goes a long way - as well as a quality "recommendation", be it a product or and interesting item. Constant sellers get blocked by me if they have nothing else to contribute.

I am not yet on Twitter. I'm still not sure how to use it as a marketing tool. I guess the only solution is to get my butt on there and start seeing what it's capable of. :)

Thanks, Forum Admin 2.
I guess my first step is to get some followers. I have a few online friends from when I used to post on political forums, but I think it's a hate-love relationship with them. I was pretty controversial. :)

Thats funny Andy! You can still do your political views when tweeting. They have ways for you to search for groups to join in on conversations. This may be something to look into also :)
