Just interested in which Article Directories people are using
to promote affiliate products? What are your favorite ones, and
have you gotten good response from them?

I use ezinearticles.com and go articles, I get a pretty good response from the two. I use a couple of others but I haven't seen too many results.
You know....you could get double the exposure if you have twoaccounts with ezinearticles.com. As an alias, you may have to switch up a couple of words but it's worth the ten minutes :)

There are quite a few marketers who may use 2 or more ***umed author names. However you do not want to use to many for it takes away the credibility as an internet marketer.
I mainly stick with ezine. The others I do not place as well, but always know that with ezine I will land on 1-2 top pages:)

Ezine is almost a must. Blogger and Squidoo are great to put articles in, but updating them is a good idea to keep things fresh.
GoArticles used to be a good one, but can't say that I have seen many that are in the top rankings.

Smh...So I've practically been wasting time writing articles if they are not aiming towards Google...other search engines. I thought it would be extra exposure.

Oh noooo, you want to hit the search engines in all aspects of techniques. Search engines love articles and they are very powerful, so are the use of blogs and squidoo.:)

It is never a waste of time. It is a good way to go and get exposure. In the future it may be a matter of do you write them or hire someone to do it.

There has to be a quicker way of writing articles, I'm only doing 3-4 a day. I'm getting clicks and even some conversions. But more articles=more $$$. I need to write more. Any suggestions?

They do have spinners. This can help to spin your articles you have already written so you can distribute more. :)

You can also hire ghostwriters to do this for you. Just another option. :)

Is GoArticles worth the trouble? Squidoo is also an option people talk about. Should I rather spend the effort and time with anything other than Ezine?

There are many good submission sites to use. Here is a link that will provide these other sites:

Squidoo is a great way to market your products for pre-sell. It is also another way of ranking in the search engines by linking your sites together:)

Hi, do you know of any good spinning software. I have tried a few but they are rather lousy.

I have one in my signature... I personally love it. It is such a time saver whether you are still writing some articles or are using the ghostwriters... you can just keep spinning!
Hope this helps! :D

This spinner has an abundance of synonyms and antonyms to help in changing your articles with either you choosing them or having the spinner choose them for you. Just make sure you proof-read before submitting:)

Hi KitKat, had a look at the spinner in your signature and it looks good with lots of good reviews.
Can anyone tell me what unique % Ezine requires or tests for in a document. I have been slapped a few times by Ezine for not enough uniqueness although I though my article was unique enough.
Also Kitkat does your spinner p*** the "tests" that Ezine require?
Sorry for all the questions but I am very new at this and trying to learn as much as possible.
Thanks for all the help.

You will want it to be at least 30% changed in order for Ezine or even other places before you submit them so you don't have duplicate content. You can use a free or paid service, some of us like to use www.dupefreepro.com (http://www.dupefreepro.com) to help us know the percentage of change. :)

It really is a good one, as I have used a few myself and this is by far the best one... especially with all you get and the support is phenominal!
As Mod1 said 30%... but we try to do even more than that if you can.... just ensures that it doesn't trip up any of Ezine's or the others dup content filters. To answer your question about Ezine... I have never had a problem with Ezine after spinning the articles. Get one approved by them and then spin that approved article... or if you are having issues still getting your own articles approved, then have a ghostwriter write one or two for you and then submit and then wait to get it approved and then spin it into a LOT of articles... anywhere from 5 to 10.
I have a couple of really good writers who I do use sometimes if you are ever interested. :)
Hope this helps! Best of luck! :D

Dupe is a great tool to use when spinning. This will allow you to put your original and spun article side by side and looks to see if you can change something else to make the spun article even more unique:)

hi everyone
spinning articles is a new term on me. im guessing from the replies that spinning is a quicker way of getting more articles in the directories.
if you spin articles does it change your title or just the body of your content?

You can spin the article using the same keywords or inserting others. If you use the same ones you will have a better chance of dominating that keyword and the competition as long as it is highly targeted. :)

The spinner is basically used to change the content of your article. Yes, it does change your title, but remember, the title should have your keyword in it, so this is something that you do not want to change. Some of these spinners have an area where you can add the keyword so that it is not changed within your article once spinned :)

Hi KitKat,
I would really appreciate it if you could point me to the writers as I suck at writing articles and it takes me a long time. It could be because I am new to this and I hope I will improve with time, but for now I need to get some articles out there.
Thanks again.

It really depends on the purpose of the article. If you are only after the backlinks any article directly will do, but if you are using articles as a stand alone source of traffic to your site stick to the big names like ezine and go articles.
Pin names are good if you are into completely different niches for credibility issues. You'll need an author name unique for each group of articles about a certain niche.
And you can always go back an edit your bio box to make it point to the site you want to rank in seach engines. No article is wasted.
Hubpages is one of the places where you can put your articles. They rank pretty well.

Teddy ~
I have someone who writes GREAT articles if you have PayPal. If you don't or don't want to use the person I know... then I can give you the link to the company I use sometimes... but they are a little more expensive. Send me private message if you want... :D

about the spinning articles.
i had a program called best spinner recommended in another forum. i watched a video presentation of what the program can do and it was impressive.
there is a yearly membership fee to pay to access the program, but im a little uncertain if i should join the program or not. I want to see money coming in before i start spending more money.
will the article spinning program really help or should i wait till i made some money before i invest in more programs?
any thoughts on this?

I have tried the free ones but have never found one that is worth while. I am now going to try the paid ones. I have submitted a request to the writes in KitKat's signature and once I have that article I am going to try the spinner in her signature and submit them to Ezine. Will keep you updated...

I personally love the spinner... after I get my articles either written myself or by someone else... I spin them so that I can get 5 - 10 articles out of that... sometimes more.
Good luck guys! :D

so kitkat if you were recommending a spinner program.
would you say best spinner is worth the yearly membership.
can best spinner make back the money needed to invest, on its own, or would i have to rely on all my other methods to make the cash back?
KitKat

In my opinion, it is the best spinner out there. I have been doing this for a while and wondered why I didn't see this or invest in it sooner! LOL I finally got so frustrated writing so many articles that I have most of mine written for me and then spin them to create more. Well worth it all if you ask me.
You still have your other work to do! This is just going to save you a ton of time.
Hope this helps! :D

I do believe this is also offering a free 7 day trial. Its well worth checking out. For newbies it may seem a little daunting at first, but when you become a veteran in marketing you will be able to really see the greatness in this tool. I think this is the best one so far that I have experienced.
Just my 2 cents worth:)

Just to keep you guys updated like I said I would. I used the article writer in KitKat's signature and WOW!!. The article was EXCELLENT and very professional. I am a newbie and can't write articles of this calibre, but more importantly I don't have the luxury of time nor experience to write articles and I can recommend this service for all.
As far as I am concerned... RECOMMENDED !!

FA2 the thing that I like the most is that when you replace the words with the built in thesaurus so to speak it actually sounds good and natural! The few other spinners that I have had in the past have seriously been a joke and I personally don't have the time to mess around with stuff like that anymore... not to sound arrogant.. but really... some of them are a waste of time and money.
Teddy ~ Thank you so much for your kind words! We very much appreciate it! :D
